A CHINA-based international network promoting the potentials of bamboo and rattan has set eyes on Iloilo’s flourishing bamboo industry and vowed to help boost its market.
Rao also talked about Livelihood and Development through Bamboo during a
Symposium on Expanding Markets and Business Opportunities at Robinson’s
Place yesterday.
“We will support the solidarity to develop the bamboo sector through inter-government and international cooperation,” Rao told reporters, adding that INBAR has 34 member-countries. “We will bridge the development to help through exchange of technology, production designs and train people. We will help you make the potential into reality together with the people here to make things happen,” said Rao.
